“If I have no Honour or Integrity – Then I have nothing” David Ellis

  1. Terms and Conditions

Terms and conditions of enrolment, learning with us, exams and course duration and use of our website www.AtlantisInstitute.org

Our Institute and website are operated by IC&I Limited. Please read our terms carefully.

IC&I Limited may revise and update these terms and conditions at any time, so please visit this page periodically to review the text, as it is binding on you. The terms “You” and “User” are used throughout the text with reference to all individuals and/or entities accessing this website for any purpose or reason.

COURSES

2.1. Enrolment

When you enrol with us, you are undertaking to follow and abide by the rules as outlined below. You agree to purchase the specified Course with the full intention to complete the Course within the timeframe allowed.

On enrolment, you are provided with your login and password details to access the first module of your Course.

2.2. Learning with us

As a student of the Atlantis Institute, you will be provided with a space within our website where you can download your Course material. All Course material is in PDF format and you accept this media of the material.

From time to time, Videos, Audios and Articles may be uploaded to your study space at the discretion of the Course Director.

2.3. Exams

After one month of receipt of your Course material, you can request your Exam paper, sometimes the Course Director will post your Exam paper to your study space without request. You must complete the module Exam before moving on to the next module. This way, it ensures you are ready for the next part of the Course.

Plagiarism – “The practice of taking someone else’s work or ideas and passing them off as one’s own”. This is a dishonest, dishonourable and disrespectful practice and will NOT be tolerated. The institute will expel the student without redress, refund or discussion.

You are encouraged to expand on your knowledge by researching the subject matter in order to enhance your knowledge. However, the exam paper is designed to test your knowledge of the module being examined, therefore. it is imperative to read and fully understand the module before expanding your knowledge on the subject matter. Please read the module and learn.

You can not copy another author’s work and paste it unedited, unchanged directly into your exam paper as your answer, whether you cite the author or not. The exam is designed to test your knowledge of the module in question.

Where you research and use that research in your paper, the literature should be cited within the text of your paper and in the literature cited section at the end of the paper. You should NOT cite a paper by including the title of the article within the text of your paper. You can cite within the text using the citation-sequence system or the citation-name system.

2.4. Course Duration

Where it states that the Course will take 1 / 4 / 8 or 12 months, you must apply yourself to complete each module within one calendar month. For example, if you enrol for a Course on the 10th of January 2022, you are expected to apply for your module exam on or about the 8th of February 2022 and have it completed and returned before the 10th of February, so the next module can be released on time.

If the aim of the course is to be completed in 8 months, then you have that period of time to complete the Course. However, we will always allow one month grace on each Course, therefore when the time frame is 1 / 4 / 8 / 12 months the Atlantis Institute will always allow an additional month and therefore the completion time would be 2 / 5 / 9 / 13 months.

Should you have personal problems and require a longer period of time, you can apply to the course director at info@atlantisinstitute.org and explain your situation and request an extension.

In the event you do not make contact, and extend the course duration, (example: you sign up to the course and don’t do anything with it for 4 months or you are mid-way through the course and become busy and leave it for 4 months), then the Atlantis Institute will no longer be able to allow you to complete the course and no refund shall be offered or given.

It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that they can complete the course within the timeframe allowed.
